Started as a quarantine project in early 2020, tiny seagulls released their debut single 'NYS' on June 1st 2022, with an album set to follow soon-ish. While the sound of actual seagulls is often described as annoying, tiny seagulls have been described as: “surprisingly not shit” by completely unbiased relatives and friends.
tiny seagulls blend their various influences to an eclectic mix, somewhere between the guitar chime of Hamburg-style indie pop and the thumping synth bass of the 80s. Add the occasional acoustic guitar and exuberant strings to create a sound that is novel, yet feels familiar.
