Started as a quarantine project in early 2020, tiny seagulls released their debut single ‘NYS’ on June 1st 2022, with an album following in late 2024. While the sound of actual seagulls is often described as annoying, tiny seagulls have been described as: “surprisingly not shit” by completely unbiased relatives and friends.
tiny seagulls blend their various influences into an eclectic mix, somewhere between the guitar chime of Hamburg-style indie pop and the thumping synth bass of the 80s. Add the occasional acoustic guitar and exuberant strings to create a sound that is novel, yet feels familiar.
